At PROFIT + JULY, EVERY body is a yoga body! Our yoga philosophy is anchored by principles to help you find space in YOUR own body. We create inclusive-sized yoga mats in three unique sizes, so you can create the space you need on the mat that suits your body best.

MAGNUM

For the “big + talls” that want both extra length and extra width, the Magnum mat is for you. Made of a malleable rubber suede that you can fold or roll. This mat is tacky so that it stays put and absorbent so that you stay dry during your practice.

Each mat also raises awareness about the benefits of a regular yoga practice and highlights the issue of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C), so you practice with a purpose!

OUR PURPOSE

PROFIT + JULY wanted to create an accessible solution to body inclusivity in the wellness community. We offer an alternative that suits you and celebrates the beautiful body you possess -- regardless of your size!

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) impacts 12 million people annually. Of these harms, the issue of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) is severely under-reported and under-represented. Nearly 500,000 women/girls are impacted by this issue in the US alone. PROFIT + JULY mats hope to raise awareness of this issue with our unique acronym design promoting some benefits of yoga practice: Freedom, Gratitude, Magnificence and Confidence. OUR STORY

PROFIT + JULY founder, Natasha R. Johnson, JD/RYT, is an attorney, academic, activist, artist, entrepreneur, and yoga teacher working to end gender-based violence (GBV). Natasha became a yoga teacher to incorporate a healing modality in her efforts to combat GBV.

Named after her paternal great, great grandparents Matilda Profit and July Hymes, PROFIT + JULY seeks to expand the limitations of the wellness industry, expand the ways violence is countered, and expand social awareness about the pervasiveness of GBV all with one mat!
